Once a hotel has been selected, we ask for feedback from our users. This feedback allows us to continuously assess each hotel's performance and ensure that they remain true to their commitments. Any hotels that do not live up to our standards are asked to step up their game or risk losing their recognition.

To ensure a consistent level of impact across all recognized hotels, there is also a set of threshold criteria that each hotel must comply with or explain why they cannot.

The URSO team is also working hard to substantially reduce the use of plastic, intending to create a zero-plastic environment in the hotel. For example, the snacks in the mini-bar are sourced from the ‘A La Par’ Foundation, which helps people in need and with special needs. Used cooking oil from the kitchens is recycled through a foundation that donates its profits to women who are victims of gender-based violence. Furthermore, all Nespresso coffee capsules are composted and given to a foundation that supports people at risk of social exclusion.
