Our first time at the Gibson and we had a wonderful experience. Arrived a little early to check in and the girl at reception was extremely pleasant and advised us to pop into the bar while she fast tracked our room. While in the bar we decided to have some food which was delicious. Again the bar staff were excellent and friendly. Our room was perfect and while not huge it was ample enough space for us. All in all it was great stay with the Gibson and its location was brilliant. We will be back ❤️

Great location for us as we were attending a concert in the 3Arena. Room was clean and spacious. We were woken at 7.30am with loud bangs coming from above our room, not sure if there were building works happening but it seemed as though someone was literally hammering the ceiling above us. We were given no warning beforehand and it was a bit of scary disturbance to wake to as we had no idea what was going on. It continued on until we checked out as we left the room for breakfast and returned at 10.30am. Breakfast itself was pleasant and well organized however I can't say the same for all of the staff. The manager was really lovely and showed us to our table. But I asked a staff member for help regarding herbal teas, a young boy, and he looked at me as if I had annoyed him. He said he didn't know and stood looking at me before I asked, can you check for me please and he sulked off. His manager stopped him and asked and he said 'it's something about tea', before she brought me over a teapot which wasn't even what I had asked for. I understand that its completely trivial but I've never had anyone speak to me or look at me the way this staff member did. I left breakfast really upset. I can't fault the hotel for cleanliness, location or atmosphere but it just completely left a sour taste at the end of it.

Fabulous hotel. Room was a good size, bed was comfy, bathroom was lovely & the shower was great! And i love the lights under the bed. One of the best things was the heating system was easy and straightforward to use. Meant we had a great nights sleep cause the room wasnt sweltering. All staff were really friendly & helpful. Breakfast was plentiful and nice. Great selection. The only thing I could barely complain about was I thought the check out time of 11am was a bit early. Other hotels I have stayed in is 12 checkout but maybe 11 is the norm for Dublin. Wasn't a major hassle just put us under a bit of pressure when we came back up from breakfast. Would highly recommend this hotel especially if you are going to an event in the 3 arena. Lovely quite area whilst being convenient to the city centre.

From the minute I checked in to checking out, everything was perfect. We had dinner in the bar and of course cocktails and it was beautiful.. The staff was so helpful and guided us on where we wanted to go,also very chatty..It was lovely to see staff talking to customers as well as just taking or dropping orders down. The room was beautiful and nice and warm, spotless clean.. The next morning we had breakfast was delicious. I certainly will be back.
