Excellent experience, the staff were really nive and welcoming. The place is very pretty, calm and relaxing. The rooms are nice, clean but maybe a bit too traditional hence 4 out 5 for the room. We had a wonderful experience and I would strongly advise to go there.

LOVED the scenic location, the surroundings and the service. Only disappointment was the dinner; not particularly tasty, original or fulfilling. Will definitely return though!

We had a lovely week here. The venue is beautiful, staff were all very friendly and helpful in both the hotel and resturaunt. The evening meal and breakfast was good and consistent every day.

Garden and looks amazing and it’s nice to walk around at property. But that was all good there was.. We stayed for four days and the door of our bathroom could not close at all (I don’t mean the lock, but really the whole door, so it was always open - not so romantic). Asked two times if they could fix this, but never did. Also the room was small and everything was extremely low. We’re pretty tall and kept bumping our heads everywhere. Bed was old and very hard. For the pool you need a pool towel that you can get at the reception. Think I went there 10 times without finding anyone (and also not getting a towel). Next to that the bikes were all broken (except for one), and a lot of the things in the gym did not work. Also the food was horrible. Nothing home made and the first time we ate there our dessert was some storebought whipped cream with 1 cut up strawberry. They charged us 7 euros for that. Also extremely small portions. Also the dishes weren’t what they said they would be. For example: we ordered ‘fresh noodles with seitan and mushrooms’ and got some old papardelle drowned in soy sauce with a few mushrooms but never saw any seitan. That was the case for al the dishes: never the same as the were on the menu. Breakfast was good though. Overall they really worked hard on their marketing but did not pay any attention on the ‘real’ experience. It’s a pity because the site itself is beautiful and has a lot of potential.
