A robust sustainability policy is followed by the hotel staff at Limerick Strand. They have a green philosophy that extends to all departments. For instance, they use handmade soaps and moisturizers from a regional company that has restored a historic mill in the Irish village where they originate, and the hydroelectric turbine now powers their entire facility. All of the plastic bottles they use are recyclable and are refilled when they run out to reduce plastic waste. Currently, the hotel also diverts 80% of its garbage away from landfills.

Great stay from start to finish. Friendly and helpful staff at reception and when a bit of a line formed, more staff arrived to help. Room was spotless and really comfortable. Nicely decorated. Excellent quality bedding. No single uses toiletries except the small bars of soap - which is excellent. ( shampoos etc are in large refillable bottles). Drinking water provided in a recyclable carton. Loads of staff at the bar and restaurant. We had lunch on arrival and breakfast the next morning and both were delicious. Would love to stay again

This hotel is a good place to go for if you are headed to Limerick. The staff is really friendly and their service is great. The rooms are really spacious and very well kept. They provided everything needed for a comfortable stay. Though I would recommend a fine breakfast with them, the dinner was disappointing. Would definitely choose this place again on our next trip to Limerick.

The Limerick Strand is an expensive hotel that offers a higher end experience. However, the air conditioning in the room didn't work properly and just didn't help when the room was very hot. The room was clean and well presented, the bed comfy and amenities supplied. The staff were friendly and helpful when checking in and out. There's no shuttle to the airport which I think would be helpful for many people. But overall it's a quite a nice hotel to go to

Rooms not equipped for warmer weather. Great service for wash cloths. Pop/soda machine had warm pop/soda. Good breakfast. Thank you for a nice stay.
