I suspect whether you enjoy or not is very much based on expectations than any objective quality of the hotel. I personally found it more style than substance. As other reviews note, it’s exceedingly hip, but I felt it lacked an attention to craft and detail. The room itself was comfortable enough, clean and had several nice touches. However, it wasn’t ready for the 3pm check in (with no explanation or apology) and advertised services such as room service just didn’t work. The staff were fine, which is I suppose a luxury in Berlin (hope does indeed die last). The room was without climate control and it was exceptionally difficult to get the old school radiators at a comfortable level. Additionally, with windows facing the courtyard (which they advertise has having fire pits in winter), it was hard to open the window without the smell entering the room. The location is good transport wise and is well situated to access both of the neighbouring, trendy districts. We didn’t eat because we found the breakfast to be poor value but otherwise cannot comment on quality of the bar or restaurant. I would say you can find better hotels at a better price in Berlin with better service and more attention to detail below the surface. However for a particular type of crowd I’m sure it’s a great fit, only you can tell if that’s you or not. If not, I’d recommend looking elsewhere.

This hotel is simply great. Treat yourself to a hotel room with a bathtub and an extra-large bed for a comfortable stay. The hotel lobby has tasty snacks, a cosy vibe, nice music and carefully curated drinks. We were offered a free hour in a private sauna and the breakfast is exceptionally good, with lots of variety and delicious products. It is very refreshing to see how many details are unique, and makes your stay at this hotel more of an experience and not a standard overnight stay. Would definitely want to come back, and wish there were more of these concepts worldwide. Especially for the price and quality!

Don't forget to use Hᴏᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking a place. They compare hundreds of hotel sites and typically will have rates a lot cheaper compared to others! You're welcome :)! This hotel is one of the highest rated in this area. I've been coming here for a very long time. If you stay for a few nights you won't be disappointed. Had a lovely stay here - with a trendy laid back Berlin aesthetics, interiors & vibes. Room was simple but well designed. Staff were friendly and efficient, and breakfast was top notch. Great central location - would recommend :)

The third time I’ve booked a room in this hotel. It’s quite a unique place. 24/7 reruns of The Big Lebowski for instance. Nice rooms friendly staff and at a very convenient location. A good place to lounge around during the day and the evenings. The feel of a hostel without being one.
