The Chateau Vary & Loire Valley Cottages is a lovely castle in the heart of the Loire Valley with over 50 acres of landscaped grounds, forests and gardens. Each cottage is decorated in a traditional style and guests can enjoy a swimming pool, free bikes, a terrace, beach chairs, and even horse riding to the Château de Montgeoffroy. Built from local wood, without the need for nails, strapping, or synthetic treatment, the lodges at Loire Valley are completely integrated into the natural surroundings. Their welcome products are all made by Le Labo, a plant-based, animal-friendly brand, and they use all eco-certified cleaning products.

We had a fantastic experience recently at Chateau Vary. The entire chateau was refurbished whilst closed during Covid and the rooms are beautiful with really comfortable beds. Paul & Benedicte were perfect hosts & they provided an excellent meal for us. Their charming assistant Alberto is extremely knowledgeable about their wine list and he matched our food and wine perfectly. We had two swimming pools to choose from, private woods to wander in and a luxurious hot tub to laze in. All told, this was a remarkable experience, provided by an attentive, passionate, professional and friendly team. We have already booked to return in June!

What a special place, beautiful venue and service that only be described as second to none. Paul & Benedicte are fantastic hosts - tasty food, great wine - you couldn't want for more! Looking forward to coming back soon!

Fantastic hosts here. English and French spoken fluently. The place has been set up to be a superb B&B with many extras. For example, the top floor has a fridge, and a microwave in a little kitchenette area! But the highlight is dinner every night where the hosts cook and then eat with you and make you feel like family. Nice and clean, good internet, two pools.

Wonderful hosts, beautiful location In the heart of the French countryside! Stayed in the newly renovated chateau rooms which were stunning. Highly recommend this place!
