Hotel is in bad need of water preparation system. All tap water smells bad... Shower, washbasin. Have not seen this problems in other Riviera Maya hotels. This ruins big part of the stay at Chablé, despite excellent service. Excellent concierge team! Thanks for helping to improve the overall impression. P.S. Avoid sushi at the bar.

Presents itself as a luxury hotel, yet lacks in service, organization, and the food is sad. The grounds and beach are nice, and the rooms have some good features such as double showers, as well as outside shower, and plunge pool, but the units don’t offer outstanding privacy. The food menu is very limited; there’s literally only like four kinds of dishes (burger, wrap, bad pizza, and ceviche) at the restaurant and in-villa dining. Asking the staff for something simple such as letting in your transport to the airport requires speaking to five different employees over 30 minutes (this actually happened to me!), and they still can’t accomplish the basic task you are requesting. It’s a shame that they do such a poor job of managing the hotel when they have a beautiful property.

We came to Chable for our baby moon and we had such a wonderful stay. It was exactly the relaxing, calm trip we needed before our lives get turned upside down. I have dietary restrictions and after telling the staff the first meal, the staff was aware and accommodated all of my meals accordingly. I read many reviews and many of the complaints people had when the hotel first opened seem to have been addressed. We ran into one issue after our stay that took some time to get resolved. We forgot to bring a credit card with us (completely our fault!) and Chable charged our debit card $1500 for incidentals and expected hotel charges like food. Upon checkout we were told the balance (nearly $1200) that we had not used would be refunded and should post to our account in 2-3 days. This did not happen. Communication from the front desk has was almost nonexistent but Jonathan in reservations was extremely helpful to get our issue resolved. Getting our refund was frustrating but we are happy it was eventually resolved and in the end we really enjoyed our stay, it was exactly what we wanted/needed!

I work as part of the Chablé Residences team, but I never get tiered of visiting the different locations - each one is unique. Maroma offers a beautiful beach and like all Chablés the cuisine is spectacular
